Adaptable, Australian rainforest tree that is initially slow growing but eventually forms a large specimen with a stout trunk and smooth bark. The leaves are shed in summer and a magnificent display of large, deep pink, velvety, bell-shaped blooms are displayed on the bare branches. Stunning specimen tree for large gardens, parks and farms.
Cultivate soil before planting. Dig hole twice the width of the container. Remove plant from container and place into the hole sot he soil level is the same as the surrounding ground. Fill hole firmly and water well even if the soil is moist.
